Keith most recently served as the General Counsel of Kythera Biopharmaceuticals from October 2006 until its acquisition by Allergan in October 2015. As General Counsel, he was responsible for all legal aspects of the Company’s activities, including numerous rounds of private financing, technology licensing transactions, partnership with a major multi-national pharmaceutical company, initial public offering, and follow-on public financings, as well as the ultimate sale of the Company to Allergan in October 2015. From 1991 to 2006, Keith held various positions of increasing responsibility in the legal department of Amgen, where he ultimately served as Senior Associate General Counsel, responsible for legal activities relating to the areas of sales and marketing, federal government affairs, corporate relationships, manufacturing, product supply, product development, and real estate. Prior to that, Keith was an associate with Cooley. Keith received a BA in Economics from University of California, Los Angeles, and a JD from the University of California, Davis.
