The department of Cellular & Molecular Pharmacology at Unity Biotechnology is seeking to hire a Senior Research Associate to discover and develop new immunotherapies for the treatment of age-related diseases. This position will afford an opportunity to contribute to both the identification of novel targets and to aid in the prosecution of drug discovery campaigns. The successful candidate should be a highly diligent and creative biologist who has hands‑on experience with cell-based assays and molecular biology techniques. This critical role will be instrumental in helping Unity build an innovative pipeline of differentiated medicines.
The successful candidate will be both a strong lab-based individual contributor and a team player who synergizes with other scientists. The duties of the job are primarily in vitro based and include experimental design and execution, analysis and interpretation of data, and presentation (verbal/written) of findings to the Discovery team. The candidate will have an important role in the generation of key datasets that are critical for the declaration of development candidates.
